IMPORTANT: The Commonwealth of Dominica officially designated TRON as its national blockchain in October 2022, marking the first instance of a sovereign nation partnering with a major public blockchain to build national blockchain infrastructure . Key Details of the Collaboration Dominica endorsed TRON and authorized seven TRON-based cryptocurrencies (TRX, BTT, NFT, JST, USDD, USDT, TUSD) as legal tender and digital currencies with statutory status for use as media of exchange within the country . This designation allows TRON cryptocurrencies to be accepted for payment of public services such as taxes, and other goods and services, as part of Dominica’s digital economy initiatives .
