Can you believe it? The first "real-world transaction" completed with Bitcoin in human history was actually for two pizzas.

On May 22, 2010, a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz posted on a forum: "I’m willing to pay 10,000 Bitcoins for two large pizzas, who will deliver them to me?"

At that time, Bitcoin was just a niche toy in the geek community, worth nothing at all. A British guy took the order, spent $25 to get Domino's delivered, and easily earned 10,000 Bitcoins.

This transaction seemed ordinary at the time, even a bit silly.

Hanyecz was using a top-end computer and could mine thousands of coins in a day; for him, this pizza was essentially “free.”

Then, the magical moment arrived.

A few years later, Bitcoin's price skyrocketed and soared to the moon. Those 10,000 Bitcoins, which were worth $41 back then, surged to hundreds of millions of dollars.

Those two ordinary pizzas became the infamous "priceless pizzas."

Since then, May 22 has been designated as "Bitcoin Pizza Day" in the crypto community, where everyone eats pizza on this day to commemorate this pioneer who "traded a Ferrari for takeout."

The funniest part is that Hanyecz himself has no regrets; he said, "Back then, Bitcoin had no real value, so being able to exchange it for pizza was already pretty cool."

The magic of the crypto world lies in this: what you might think is just a throwaway could be wealth that others could never earn in their lifetime.

And you might just be the person who once had a "gold mine" but used it to prop up a table instead.
