The survey shows that a quarter of British adults intend to invest in retirement using cryptocurrency
According to news from Hash World, a survey by the UK insurance company Aviva shows that among 2,000 British adults surveyed, 27% of respondents expressed a willingness to incorporate cryptocurrency into their retirement funds, with slightly over 40% particularly concerned about the potential for high returns. The survey conducted by Censuswide from June 4 to 6 also found that 23% of respondents are considering withdrawing some or all of their existing pensions to invest in cryptocurrency. Aviva stated that about one-fifth of respondents reported having ever held or currently hold cryptocurrency. Nearly one-fifth of British adults aged 25 to 34 indicated that they have withdrawn pensions for cryptocurrency investment. Respondents identified security risks such as hacking and phishing attacks, as well as the lack of regulation and protection for cryptocurrencies, as the biggest risks, accounting for 41% and 37% respectively, while the volatility of cryptocurrency was listed as the third biggest concern at 30%.
