Standard Chartered: Ethereum and ETH treasury funds are at a "good entry point"

According to Standard Chartered, the recent price correction of Ethereum after reaching its peak is a "good entry point" for investors. The bank maintains a price target of $ETH at $7,500 by the end of 2025 and asserts that ETH treasury companies have greater growth potential than Bitcoin treasury companies.

Growth from institutional capital inflow

According to Geoffrey Kendrick, head of the digital asset department at #StandardChartered , Ethereum treasury companies and ETFs have purchased 4.9% of the total ETH supply since June. This buying pressure is the main driver that helped ETH rise to a record high of $4,953 last weekend. Kendrick believes that this capital inflow has just begun and treasury companies will soon own 10% of the total ETH supply.

The advantage of ETH treasury

Kendrick argues that ETH treasury companies have an advantage over $BTC because they can leverage both staking profits and opportunities from decentralized finance (DeFi). Although spot Ethereum ETFs in the US are not allowed to stake, ETH treasury companies can do so.

Data shows that Ethereum ETFs attracted $443.9 million on Monday, double the inflow into Bitcoin ETFs. Year-to-date, ETH has increased by 32.6%, far exceeding Bitcoin's 17.3% increase. #anhbacong
