🚫 Future and funding = Usury in another form.

📌 A realistic analogy:

•Usurious bank ➝ gives you a fixed percentage per year (for example, 10%).

•Future (Funding Rate) ➝ If you open a deal for a full year, you will find your account either depleting or adding approximately the same percentage (10% annually).

👀 The formal difference:

•The bank = A fixed and guaranteed usurious contract.

•Future = Variable exchange among gamblers according to market movement.

👉 But the essence is one: Money in exchange for time = Usury.

✍️ The stance of scholars:

•International Islamic Fiqh Academy.

•The Council of Senior Scholars in Saudi Arabia.

•Egyptian Fatwa House.

🔴 They all agreed: Futures contracts are forbidden because they are based on:

•Usury.

•Gharar (uncertainty).

•Gambling.

💭 And those who use hedging as an excuse?

Whoever is content with a grain of usury (even under the pretext of 'hedging')… does not have a good opinion of his Lord.

•The sincere believer chooses what is lawful, even if the path is harder or the profit is slower.

•Because he knows that provision is from Allah, not from contracts or manipulation.

🔑 Summary:

•Hedging does not remove the prohibition, but rather sinks you deeper.

•The result? Loss in this world… and more severe in the hereafter.

📖 Reminder of the verses on usury:

{Indeed, those who consume usury cannot stand on the Day of Resurrection except as one stands who is driven to madness by the touch of Satan} [Al-Baqarah: 275]

1. Whoever consumes usury will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment in a state of distress like one possessed as a punishment for him.

{Allah destroys usury and increases charitable deeds}

2. Allah nullifies the effect of usury and multiplies the reward of charitable deeds.

﴿ O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to] usury, if you should be believers ﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 278]

﴿ But if you do not do so, then be informed of a war from Allah and His Messenger ﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 279]

⚠️ Dealing in usury = Entering into a war with Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

⚡ A word from the heart:

And I swear I am not writing for debate… but for reminder:

﴿ Indeed, you do not guide whom you love, but Allah guides whom He wills ﴾

Today you might rejoice in quick profits, but tomorrow? You might pay dearly for it.

Imagine the situation… The moment of death, and the angels are calling you, while you are drowning in a usury and gambling deal!

💔 Oh gentle one… May Allah grant us a good ending and keep us away from the forbidden.
