Soluna Holdings (SLNH) announced it has reached one gigawatt of clean computing projects through its development pipeline with the launch of two new facilities in Texas.
This landmark includes the Phi project, a 100-megawatt data center paired with a 240-megawatt solar farm in North Texas, and the Gladys project, a 150-megawatt facility co-located with a 226-megawatt wind farm in Southeast Texas. Both projects are progressing through land acquisition, power contract negotiations, and planning interconnections with the ERCOT grid.
The Phi project represents Soluna's second solar-based project, being developed with a global energy infrastructure investment partner. The Gladys project is being developed with a U.S.-based independent power producer managing assets worth over $40 billion and more than 80 energy facilities.
The company operates data centers for Bitcoin mining and artificial intelligence applications. CEO John Belizer stated that achieving one gigawatt of clean computing projects places the company alongside major technology firms in terms of clean-powered computing capacity.
Soluna reported that it has a long-term energy pipeline totaling 2.8 gigawatts. The company focuses on developing data centers co-located with renewable energy sources, including wind, solar, and hydroelectric power.
