🥷🏻 Coinbase hacker invested in Solana using illegal funds
On August 24, a wallet labeled as 'Coinbase hacker' purchased Solana worth about $8 million, likely using illegally obtained funds, according to analysts from Lookonchain.
The wallet owner first converted DAI to USDC, then transferred the funds to the Solana network, where they purchased 38,126 SOL at an average price of about $209 through several transactions.
The Arkham platform identified the wallet address as 'Coinbase hacker.' According to Lookonchain, it is linked to the theft of over $300 million from exchange users.
