From 9000U to 370,000U, what I relied on was not luck, but holding back from going all in
Looking back on these years, there really weren't any 'god operations', it was just a matter of not gambling.
While others were thinking about getting rich overnight, I focused on one thing: not getting liquidated.
When I first entered the market, I was also beaten down and left searching for my teeth. Three liquidations, my savings wiped out, and even using credit cards couldn't fill it back, my mindset almost broke.
What really turned my situation around was that time when my account only had 9000U left.
You might not believe it, but I didn't dare to go for 20x leverage like those around me. Instead, I split the 9000U, picked coins with low volatility, bought a little and sold a little higher, making only a few hundred dollars per trade.
In the first week, I made back 1900U, in the second week my account exceeded 12100U, and a month later I reached 80000U.
Was that luck? It was just me resisting greed; while others were going all in, I was content to take small profits.
Later, my account grew from 80000U all the way to over 370,000, and I summarized two iron rules:
When others are afraid to cut losses, I dare to buy low;
When others are frantically chasing prices, I take profits first.
I only do trends that I can clearly understand, diversifying positions, taking profits, cutting losses, rolling little by little. After my account grew, I became even more cautious. With a larger principal, I would rather take small bites and not want to go back down that road.
Setting orders, taking profits, cutting losses, I basically only trade mainstream ones like BTC and ETH. If I can steadily pocket 1000U, I'm satisfied.
To be honest, if you want to continue in the crypto world, don't think about making a quick turnaround, but learn to be steady. Remember three phrases:
Going all in is a grave, diversifying is a lifeline;
Don't bet on direction, bet on win rate;
Slow is fast, stability is the king's way.
Opportunities are always there, but if your mindset breaks once, you might never recover.
What you lack is not effort; this market isn't lacking opportunities either. What you're truly missing is someone who can help you achieve stable profits in this market.
