Lesson: How to Identify a Valid Order Block
Many traders confuse random candles with OBs — here’s how to spot the real ones:
🔑 Rules for a Valid Order Block:
1. Strong Move Away → After the OB candle, price must leave with aggression (big impulse, breaking structure).
2. Break of Structure (BOS) → Price must break a key high/low after forming the OB.
3. Freshness → The OB should be “untouched” (price hasn’t retested it yet).
4. Timeframe Context → Higher timeframe OBs (H1, H4, D1) carry more weight than LTF.
⚠️ Avoid Fake OBs:
Weak moves with no structure break.
Zones already tested multiple times.
