After the mainnet went live, the first thing I did was to monitor its 'real usage', not the hype from community groups, but real data: the official website and news show that Succinct has handled over 5 million proof requests, serving more than 35 protocols such as Polygon, Lido, Celestia, etc., with a total locked value exceeding 4 billion USD.
I am not simply saying 'data is king'. I am comparing it with my daily monitoring tools, recording the number of new proof requests every hour, which is about 30-50k requests daily, steadily climbing. This can be considered a 'basic demand' for a general network; it's not just trial users enjoying themselves, but developers are genuinely using it.
'Locked value of 4 billion' is the official data, but I also tracked whether there are announcements from the protocols adopting SP1. For example, Polygon has an article mentioning its use to verify zkEVM state; Celestia has a blog briefly describing its use to verify data availability. These statements are not just numerical fluff; there are indeed projects treating it as underlying technology for integration.
I am also paying attention to the staking data of PROVE. According to CMC information, the Circulating Supply is approximately 195 million, which is less than 20% of the maximum supply of 1 billion. Most tokens are still being unlocked, which poses challenges for subsequent network security and token economic mechanisms.
For me, these 'ecological usage + partner statements + token distribution' combined form the basis of real usage. When you write about Succinct, don’t just focus on the price; these data points constitute the 'ecological core'. This is also the starting point for writing this piece.
