CoinWorld reported on-site that on August 26, at WebX2025 held in Japan, Galaxy founder Mike Novogratz stated that Galaxy stocks are about to be tokenized and launched on Superstate. He anticipates that the speed of this process will exceed expectations. He emphasized that asset tokenization will be a major trend in the future, and with the development of technology, artificial intelligence will facilitate transactions on the blockchain using stablecoins. He believes that the boundaries between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi) are increasingly blurred. From the perspective of market participants, he considers asset tokenization to be of significant importance. On one hand, it can promote financial democratization; for example, young people in Cambodia or Zimbabwe will be able to easily hold stocks of companies like SoftBank, Apple, and Galaxy through their mobile phones in the future. On the other hand, for non-traditional assets such as private equity funds, tokenization will greatly enhance the convenience of transfers. Currently, the process of selling private equity fund shares is complex, but after tokenization, trading can be done easily. Novogratz believes that the substantial increase in liquidity brought about by asset tokenization will further drive up asset prices.
