Heritage Distilling completes $223.8 million financing, holding 53.2 million Story IP tokens

According to reports from Hash World Chain, Heritage Distilling Holding Company announced the successful completion of a $223.8 million private placement, which was supported by the Story Foundation and other investors, including a16z crypto, Amber Group, Arrington Capital, dao5, Hashed, Mirana Ventures, Neoclassic Capital, Open World, Polychain Capital, Selini Capital, Stix, and Syncracy Capital. The aim is to support the launch of financial strategies for IP token digital assets. The transaction was completed on August 15. As of now, the company holds 53.2 million native Story tokens, which, based on the price on August 22, has a holding value of approximately $320 million.
