I really agree with this point! Today I was chatting about this with Kitty @Cato_CryptoM. I went through all of Powell's speeches and found that the main reason the market feels the probability of interest rate cuts is increasing is that the economy may be facing downward risks.
What’s even more concerning is that Powell even mentioned the slight recession in 2008. Maybe I am indeed a bit scared, but this move made me close my long position, even though I only exited with a small profit, but it's better than being trapped.
To be honest, hearing the word '2008' makes me a bit nervous; everyone knows the situation back then, and I really don't want to experience that kind of crash again. Although I am only making a small profit now, I think it's more important to preserve the principal, especially since the market is so uncertain. Who knows what will happen next?
At times like this, I really dare not chase the highs; the risk feels a bit too great. However, on the other hand, if a big drop does occur, there might be better opportunities to buy the dip then.
