Chainbase should not compete head-on with The Graph

My view is straightforward: Chainbase and The Graph are actually complementary rather than directly competitive. The Graph's strengths lie in event indexing and community subgraphs, allowing developers to quickly build event-driven analytical models; Chainbase is more suitable for general aggregate queries, such as cross-chain asset balances, transaction aggregation, and user profiles.

If Chainbase blindly competes with The Graph on "who is faster," both could fall into a price war and performance rat race, resulting in a lose-lose situation. Instead, the smartest path is to clearly define the differences: The Graph continues to build the event indexing ecosystem, while Chainbase refines aggregate queries and API capabilities to the extreme. Especially in scenarios such as multi-chain real-time queries and AI agent calling interfaces, Chainbase has a greater opportunity to position itself.

So my view is: Chainbase does not need to compete with The Graph, but should complement it, positioning itself as a "data middle platform." Only then will its value remain stable in the long term. Do you agree?
