Why do I say WalletConnect is the 'WeChat of Web3'?

In the world of the internet, WeChat has changed the way Chinese people communicate. Whether you are using Android or iOS, you can connect through WeChat. In the Web3 world, I believe WalletConnect plays a similar role.

In the past, to access a decentralized application, users had to either download specific wallet plugins or copy and paste private keys, which made the process complicated and the experience poor. Now, with WalletConnect, it is as simple as 'scan to connect', allowing seamless interactions across wallets, platforms, and chains.

For me, the charm of WalletConnect lies in its 'invisibility'. When a protocol reaches a certain level, users don’t even need to be aware of its existence; they are already enjoying its services. This is the power of standards, just like when you use a browser to visit a webpage without thinking about how HTTP works.

Even better, with the launch of $WCT , WalletConnect has entered a new community-driven phase. Tokens not only carry governance functions but also serve as a link for ecological incentives. In the future, the interests of users, developers, and protocols will be deeply bound together, driving ecological expansion.

So I often joke that WalletConnect is the 'WeChat of Web3'. It truly enables smooth connections between people, wallets and applications, assets and the world. Thanks to @WalletConnect for bringing about this change. #WalletConnect $WCT $ETH
