Peter Thiel Bets on Ethereum as Wall Street's Favorite Platform
According to PANews, billionaire investor Peter Thiel is betting on Ethereum to become Wall Street's platform for real-world assets (RWA). His investment firm Founders Fund has made significant investments in assets and companies related to Ethereum that use Ethereum as a reserve asset, including ETHZilla and Bitmine. Thiel's investment strategy is based on the belief that if Ethereum can serve as an alternative channel for settling and liquidating dollars, stocks, and other assets outside the traditional financial system, its native token will significantly benefit from increased network activity. However, Nansen research analyst Nikolaj Søndergaard warns that the idea of 'revamping Wall Street's financial infrastructure on Ethereum' may be more of a marketing gimmick to attract investors to Ethereum-related stocks.
