🚀 XRP Gets the Green Light — $12B Stablecoin Issuer Confirms Integration Plans USDe, Ethena Labs' $11.8-billion stablecoin, may soon use XRP. The company's risk committee has certified that XRP has met all standards under its new Eligible Asset Framework, making it a top contender for onboarding alongside BNB and HYPE. XRP's huge liquidity, market capitalization of over $181 billion, and daily trading volumes exceeding $10 billion make it ready to join the USDe ecosystem. Ethena Labs, which runs USDe, has launched the Eligible Asset Framework to increase USDe's collateral choices. The framework requires assets to fulfill standards before clearance, according to a statement. Average two-week open interest must be over $1 billion, daily spot trading volumes must be over $100 million, and perpetual futures volume must be above $100 million. Liquidity criteria include spot order book depth above $500,000 and perpetual futures depth over $10 million on a two-week average. XRP meets all three standards, making it risk-safe enough for USDe's perpetual futures collateral mechanism. XRP is one of the most liquid digital assets for years. Its market worth, $181.944 billion, has expanded significantly in the last year. Now behind Bitcoin and Ethereum in market valuation, it has risen. The Impact on XRP? Ethena claims that XRP and HYPE have merely passed all criteria and will be onboarded soon. The first new qualifying asset for USDe's perpetual futures collateral support is BNB. If Ethena onboards XRP for onboarding, its usefulness would increase. It may not be the upgrade XRP investors wanted, but it might change the cryptocurrency's usefulness and acceptance. Ripple's US dollar-pegged RLUSD has also been successful in stablecoins. Within its first seven months, RLUSD has reached $680 million in market valuation and is growing.
