Validator Responsibilities in the Chainbase Ecosystem
Validators play an important role in ensuring network security and data accuracy within the Chainbase ecosystem. They achieve consensus using CometBFT and a delegated proof-of-stake system, review the results of the execution layer, confirm data transformations, and update the network as needed.
In return, validators receive rewards for helping to keep everything accurate and tamper-proof. They are the guardians of the stability and security of the Chainbase system.
