🚨 Lost $4,000 on Crypto Dragons NFTs 🐉💸
Back in 2020, everyone was printing money with NFTs.
Art sold for $60M. Bored Apes went bananas. Influencers & celebrities piling in.
I locked my eyes on a project called Crypto Dragons.
The idea was wild: buy a dragon egg 🥚, hatch it, discover its traits 🔥, then breed new dragons and sell them. They even teased a fighting arena where people could bet on battles.
The hype was real. Paul Pogba endorsed it. ✅
They even announced an ad on Burj Khalifa with drones.
So I went in — bought 2 eggs from the first batch and held them.
I didn’t stress much. I wasn’t hatching, just keeping them as “originals.”
Checked my eggs here and there… until late 2023, when I tried to log in.
The site was gone. Discord full of chaos. Team vanished. ❌
The CEO? A mysterious woman with a strong Eastern European accent, blonde hair, always behind an alias. Were they Ukrainian devs who disappeared in the war? Or just a rug pull crew enjoying the money?
I’ll never know. 🤷♂️
Lesson learned. Some days you win, some days you lose.🎭
