According to Cointelegraph, a report by K33 Research shows that the number of publicly traded companies holding Bitcoin increased from 70 to 134 in the first half of 2025, totaling 244,991 BTC. The trend of companies adopting cryptocurrency is similar to the early wave of gold adoption.
