According to PANews, Thai authorities have arrested a South Korean man in connection with a $50 million cryptocurrency money laundering operation. The arrest took place at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport on Saturday, as reported by the Thai National News. The suspect, a 33-year-old identified as Han, faces charges of fraud, computer crimes, money laundering, and involvement in a criminal organization.

The Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) of Thailand coordinated the arrest after Han's arrival in the country. Immigration officials detained him at the airport checkpoint, where his mobile phone was confiscated. Investigators discovered multiple cryptocurrency accounts linked to the money laundering network on his device.
