1. SEC actions regarding spot XRP ETFs
As of August 18 or 22, 2025, the SEC postponed the decision on several proposals for spot XRP ETFs, extending the deadline for analysis until October 2025.
Specifically, decision deadlines were set between October 18 and October 24, 2025, depending on the issuer (such as Grayscale on 10/18, 21Shares on 10/19, Bitwise on 10/22, CoinShares and Canary on 10/23).
2. New form submissions (S-1 amendments)
On August 22, 2025, several asset managers (Grayscale, Bitwise, Canary, CoinShares, Franklin Templeton, 21Shares, and WisdomTree) submitted amendments to their S-1 forms for spot XRP ETFs, possibly responding to SEC feedback.
