That single comment flipped market sentiment, and traders are already pricing it in for next month. Naturally, that’s sparked a wave of optimism across stocks and crypto. But the story runs deeper. ETF inflows for Bitcoin and Ethereum are showing signs of steady recovery, hinting that institutions are quietly stepping back in. Still, September has a track record of being one of the most volatile months in markets. Add to that the fact that whales are actively moving big funds on-chain and to exchanges — usually a sign that heavy swings are on the horizon. My take? I’m not buying into the “September bull run” narrative blindly. A rate cut would certainly be bullish, but history shows September can punish impatient traders just as much as it rewards them.
