Do you know the x8 rule in trading?
Whether you trade on M1, M5, M15, or H1, it depends on your strategy. But it is relevant for your risk management and position taking.
When you use a Time Frame, you must be able to hold your position for a determined time. This can give you a good indicator of the trend of the trade you are in, in addition to other convergences. Calculation: TF x 8. M1 = 8 minutes. M5 = 40 minutes. H1 = 8 hours or 480 minutes. Daily = 8 days. Etc... This method naturally works when there is volatility. Either there is none, and you will have to wait for it to appear. Or the market is making a decision. You can now adjust your lot size and set a TP and SL based on your RR Risk Rewards. DYOR.
