Bitlayer's Technology Roadmap for 2025: Upgrading from Infrastructure to Ecological Prosperity

According to the official disclosure of Bitlayer's 2025 technology roadmap, its core objective is to shift from 'building BTCFi infrastructure' to 'ecological large-scale prosperity', focusing on three major technological upgrades and two major ecological construction tasks to further consolidate its industry position.

In terms of technological upgrades, first, complete the research and development of BitVM 2.0, introducing ZK proof to optimize cross-chain verification efficiency, reducing cross-chain latency from the current 5 minutes to under 1 minute, while supporting multi-asset cross-chain (such as BTC, stablecoins); second, iterate the performance of the Rollup network, increasing TPS from 3000 to 10000, supporting sharding technology to meet the needs of large-scale applications; third, expand the functionality of the YBTC protocol, adding direct exchange features between YBTC and other mainstream stablecoins to enhance asset liquidity.

In terms of ecological construction, first, launch the 'BTCFi Application Incubation Program', collaborating with investors such as Polychain Capital to select 100 quality projects for deep incubation, covering areas such as payments, insurance, and derivatives; second, promote the construction of a 'Global Compliance Network', completing compliance filings in markets like the EU and Japan, and collaborating with local financial institutions to launch localized BTCFi products.
