Oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline were briefly interrupted, but this did not affect Germany's energy supply, the German Ministry of Economy reported on Friday.
Pumping through the pipeline to Central European countries stopped on Thursday after an attack on the infrastructure facility in Russia from the Ukrainian side, reported the foreign ministers of Hungary and Slovakia.
After the cessation of Russian oil imports to Germany in 2022, crude oil is now supplied from Kazakhstan to the German refinery in the city of Schwedt via the northern section of the Druzhba pipeline.
