Today, Rakbank reaches a historic milestone by partnering with Bitpanda Broker MENA DMCC, regulated by Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), thus becoming the first traditional bank in the Emirates to offer its retail clients cryptocurrency trading including the $BNB
directly from their banking app.
All transactions are conducted in Emirati dirhams (AED), from a current or savings account, avoiding exchange fees and external transfers. This service, launched at the end of July 2025, is initially offered by invitation before a wider rollout.
