BMT Series (Twenty-Four): The Voting and Resource Allocation Mechanism of Intel Desk
Intel Desk is Bubblemaps' crowdsourced survey platform, driven by BMT, with a cleverly designed voting and resource allocation mechanism. It allows the community to decide survey priorities, ensuring transparency and efficiency. The simple process: deposit BMT, allocate to cases, and resources are distributed proportionally.
Voting requires depositing BMT into the voting pool, connecting a wallet, and manually entering or selecting a ratio. Submitting a case has a minimum threshold of 100 BMT to prevent spam. BMT is allocated to cases and can be adjusted freely, but is reviewed weekly to maintain stability. Resource allocation is based on BMT percentage: for example, if case A accounts for 60%, it receives 60% of the survey time. Data shows that this repeats weekly, adapting to market changes.
The incentive mechanism is a highlight. Proposers: selected cases receive BMT rewards, more votes mean more rewards. Voters: gain insights early, gaining strategic advantages. Contributors: assisting in surveys also receive incentives. 70% of the ecological fund is used for this, expanding the detective network. Withdrawals are flexible, but quick withdrawals incur fees: 20% on the first day, 10% after 48 hours, and below 1% after 10 days. The formula is based on time decay.
Advantages: transparency, with weekly tables showing allocations; incentives, promoting activity; cross-chain, aggregating votes from Solana and BNB. In the future, it will expand to more chains, and the mechanism will be more refined. In summary, the voting allocation of Intel Desk is not just a tool, but a model of community governance, allowing BMT holders to truly participate in InfoFi.
