SWIFT, one of the global payment companies, has begun testing Ripple’s XRP Ledger and Hedera’s Hashgraph (HBAR), two blockchain networks, to facilitate money transfers between countries more efficiently. This project could change how banks send money worldwide.
The goal of the experiments is to integrate blockchain technology with the existing banking system. The ISO 20022 guidelines will be applied to achieve this.
