According to BlockBeats news on August 22, as reported by Nwes1, the Seoul Central District Court in South Korea made a partial ruling in favor of the plaintiffs in the compensation lawsuit filed by current and former employees against Wemade. The court ruled that Wemade must compensate them a total of 9.93928 billion Korean Won (approximately 7.14 million USD).

In July last year, 27 current and former executives and employees of Wemade filed a lawsuit against the company, seeking compensation of 16.17648 billion Korean Won. A former employee who worked at Wemade's subsidiary Wemade Tree stated that the company had promised to make payments but did not fulfill this promise, prompting him to file the lawsuit.
