Let’s talk about a project I’m quite optimistic about recently — Huma Finance @Huma Finance 🟣 , especially its collaboration with Solana on the PayFi ecosystem, which indeed has some highlights.
What Huma does is not complicated; in simple terms, it reconstructs those inefficient and high-cost segments in traditional finance using blockchain, such as cross-border payments and SME financing. It has created a system called PayFi, which combines payment, currency, custody, financing, compliance, and applications into one cohesive operation. It has already processed $4.5 billion in transactions with zero defaults, which is a very promising start.
@Huma Finance 🟣 One of the biggest highlights is that it truly brings real-world assets (RWA) on-chain. Whether it's payroll, freelancer income, or accounts receivable from SMEs, they can all become financeable credit assets in Huma's network. Funding providers can thus obtain real economic returns, not just pure Ponzi schemes.
The $HUMA token, as the core of the entire ecosystem, is used for governance and liquidity incentives, and the mechanism design is quite solid.
What's even more noteworthy is that #HumaFinance chose to build on Solana. As everyone knows, Solana is fast and low-cost, particularly suitable for high-frequency, small-amount real-time payment scenarios. Since its launch in 2024, Huma has already processed a large number of transactions, and liquidity providers can achieve double-digit returns, performing quite steadily.
With the help of Solana, #HumaFinance it can also achieve unsecured lending — users can use future income (like salaries or invoices) as collateral, and smart contracts can instantly advance 70%-90% of liquidity. This is a tangible cash flow solution for many SMEs and freelancers.
In terms of ecology, Huma 2.0 has integrated DeFi protocols like Jupiter and Meteora, allowing LPs to earn not only basic returns but also further yield through PST tokens. Institutions have exclusive access, while retail investors can participate without restrictions. Additionally, with mechanisms like the feather reward system and locked asset multiplication, the sense of participation and returns are designed with significant layers.
Recently, Huma has also collaborated with institutions like Arf and Geoswift to bring real-time settlement into the e-commerce sector, expanding the imaginative space even further.
Overall, Huma is not a project that merely talks about concepts. It has real transactions, collaborative progress, and revenue support, combined with the infrastructural advantages of Solana, making the entire PayFi narrative gradually come to fruition. If you are interested in RWA or on-chain credit, Huma is definitely a target worth focusing on.
