ChainCatcher news, according to CME's "FedWatch" data, prior to Powell's speech at the Jackson Hole annual meeting tonight, the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut by the Federal Reserve in September has fallen to 71.3%, while the probability of maintaining the current rate is 28.7%.

The probability that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged until October is 14.6%, the cumulative probability of a 25 basis point rate cut is 50.4%, and the cumulative probability of a 50 basis point rate cut is 35.1%.

The dates for the next two FOMC meetings are September 17 and October 29.
