According to reports, Apple has released a security update to fix the exploited zero-day vulnerability CVE-2025-43300. This vulnerability exists in the ImageIO framework, and attackers can trigger memory corruption through malicious images, which has been exploited in complex attacks targeting specific individuals. Affected systems include iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, with the fixed versions being: iOS/iPadOS 18.6.2, iPadOS 17.7.10; macOS Ventura 13.7.8, Sonoma 14.7.8, Sequoia 15.6.1. Since the beginning of the year, Apple has fixed 7 zero-day vulnerabilities exploited in real-world attacks.
