It is widely reported that Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, the founder and former CEO of Binance, is the top individual holder of Binance Coin (BNB).
Significant Holdings: Forbes estimates that CZ's net worth is around $61 billion, which is largely attributed to his 90% equity stake in Binance and substantial holdings of BNB tokens.
Controlling Interest: Reports indicate that CZ holds approximately 94 million BNB tokens, representing about 64% of the circulating supply.
Combined Ownership: Together, CZ and Binance are estimated to control 71% of the total BNB in circulation.
Early Allocation: When Binance was founded in 2017, the founding team received 80 million BNB tokens, and a significant portion of the unsold tokens from the ICO were reportedly transferred to wallets controlled by CZ.
