Bitcoin liquidation pressure peaks at levels of 111,000 USD and 115,000 USD
According to data from Coinglass, the Bitcoin market is approaching price levels that could trigger a large-scale liquidation wave:
• If BTC surpasses 115,000 USD, the accumulated liquidation pressure of short positions on top CEX exchanges could reach 1.734 billion USD.
• Conversely, if BTC falls below 111,000 USD, the total accumulated liquidation pressure of long positions could reach 1.183 billion USD.
What does this mean?
According to BlockBeats analysis, the liquidation chart does not provide an exact number or value of contracts about to be liquidated, but rather indicates the intensity – that is, the significance of liquidation clusters compared to nearby price levels. The higher the “liquidation columns,” the stronger the market reaction will be when price hits that level.
💡 In other words, price levels such as 111,000 USD and 115,000 USD are liquidity activation points. When BTC reaches these levels, a large volume of orders being swept could create severe volatility, pushing the price further in the initial breakout direction.
