BlockBeats news, on August 22, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) announced that it has issued an order to terminate the consent order against cryptocurrency custodian bank Anchorage Digital made in 2022.

The OCC stated that the revocation of the order is to 'ensure the safety and soundness of Anchorage.' The regulatory agency's order made in April 2022 was based on Anchorage's 'failure to establish and implement a compliance program in accordance with anti-money laundering (AML) standards.' However, the OCC stated that the bank's 'compliance with laws and regulations does not require the order to continue to exist.'
