Pinhao Report: Significant Difference Between US Stock Market and Economic Performance
According to ChainCatcher, Pinhao pointed out in its report that there is a discrepancy between the performance of the US stock market and the overall economy. The S&P 500 index has risen nearly 10% this year, but retreated about 20% in April.
Real consumer spending is projected to grow at an annualized rate of 1% in the first half of 2025, while real GDP growth continues to slow. A Bloomberg survey shows the average probability of a US recession in the coming year is 35%.
