MetaMask will launch its own stablecoin 🚀

MetaMask, one of the most popular cryptocurrency wallets, announced that it will launch its own stablecoin: the MetaMask USD (mUSD).

Starting in late 2025, this stablecoin, which will be backed 1:1 by the US dollar, will be integrated directly into the wallet. The main goal is to simplify transactions and the adoption of decentralized finance (DeFi) for everyone. This means it will be much easier to use, exchange, and spend your funds within Web3.
