In the past few months, Bitlayer has been taking a series of actions to establish itself as the core infrastructure for the financialization of Bitcoin (BTCFi).
Technically, Bitlayer has pioneered the launch of the BitVM Bridge mainnet and implemented a Bitcoin Rollup architecture that balances security and performance, allowing BTC to enter the programmable world while retaining the consensus of the mainnet. This means that Bitcoin is gradually shifting from being a 'passive store of value' to an 'active appreciation'.
Ecologically, Bitlayer has partnerships with public chains such as Sui, Base, Arbitrum, and Cardano, as well as support from mining giants like Antpool, F2pool, and SpiderPool. In terms of financing, it has completed a $25 million institutional round backed by top capital firms such as Polychain, Franklin Templeton, Framework, and ABCDE.
On the community front, Bitlayer is also continuously expanding: the Korea Meetup gathered over 200 community members, showcasing the collaboration potential with the Solana ecosystem; while at FolksFinance, the YBTC.B vault deposits have exceeded 50+, further indicating that real user adoption is happening.
Meanwhile, Booster Phase 3 is underway, with a total prize pool of 5.15M $BTR: depositing into YBTC.B, verifying Lucky Helmet NFTs, and creating content can all serve as entry points for participating in the ecosystem.
From financing to ecology, from community to products, Bitlayer is realizing its vision—creating an open, scalable, and programmable financial world for Bitcoin.
