🏦 From September 1, Russian banks will start to more strictly control cash withdrawals — the Central Bank has introduced a list of signs under which the operation may be considered suspicious, and in this case, the bank has the right to impose restrictions:

🔴 Unusual method of operation (QR instead of card, withdrawal shortly after a loan)

🔴 Transfer of more than 200,000 rubles via SBP from another bank

🔴 Spike in activity on the phone — calls, SMS, messengers a few hours before the operation

🔴 Change of number, device, or 'suspicious' phone characteristics (different operator, OS, applications, presence of viruses)

🔴 Multiple refusals to issue cash

🔴 Match of client data with risk operation databases.

If at least one sign matches, the bank limits cash withdrawal to 50,000 rubles per day for 48 hours, notifying the client about it. More can be withdrawn only at the office.
