Chainlink becomes the first blockchain oracle to obtain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification
According to reports, Chainlink has announced that it has obtained ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 Type 1 attestation, becoming the first oracle platform in the blockchain field to achieve such security compliance standards. This certification covers Chainlink's data standards (such as price oracles and asset proofs) and cross-chain interoperability protocols (CCIP). The independent accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP completed the audit based on AICPA standards. Chainlink, as the most widely used data oracle standard in the DeFi space, currently holds a market share of approximately 68%, securing a total value of over $90 billion and supporting billions of dollars in on-chain transactions. Its cross-chain interoperability standard, CCIP, is also widely adopted by financial institutions and top DeFi protocols such as Swift, UBS, and ANZ Bank. Previously, Chainlink launched a strategic LINK reserve, with over a million dollars' worth of LINK already stored.
