《#caldera Ecology: $ERA Token Builds the 'Rainbow Bridge' of Ethereum Layer-2》
In the 'fragmented forest' of Ethereum Layer-2, @Caldera Official has built a 'Rainbow Bridge'—the Metalayer protocol is the bridge body, and the $ERA token is the bridge cable, connecting Optimism and zkSync on one end, and Arbitrum and Base on the other. All Rollup chains can freely traverse this bridge. This bridge is turning the 'data-isolated Ethereum' from imagination into reality.
Previously, to interact across Rollups, assets had to be transferred to a cross-chain bridge, waiting half a day for confirmation, with transaction fees high enough to buy a cup of milk tea. @Caldera Official 's 'Rainbow Bridge' does not work like that: the Guardian Nodes validator network acts like the 'bridge monitoring system,' closely watching the status of each Rollup in real-time; the shared liquidity pool functions like the 'bridge lanes,' ensuring assets flow without congestion. Take the interaction between RARI Chain and Ozean Chain, for example; the confirmation time has now been reduced to minutes, and transaction fees have dropped by 90%. The ERA token serves as the 'toll'—it rewards the validators who maintain the 'bridge' and reinforces the bridge body by 'staking ERA+ETH.' Currently, over 60,000 ETH are re-staked through EigenLayer, making this bridge very stable.
The function of the ERA token as the 'bridge cable' becomes more apparent with use. By August 2025, the 'Rainbow Bridge' will connect over 30 Rollup chains, with 240,000 transactions passing through the bridge daily. The average daily transaction volume of ERA is $12 million, an 8-fold increase since the bridge was first built. @Caldera Official has also established a membership system called 'ERA Force One': based on the holding and staking amount of $ERA , members are classified into 'air force ranks,' where senior members can give 'suggestions' for the bridge (participate in governance) and share in the 'toll revenue' (ecological fund), encouraging everyone to protect this bridge.
@Caldera Official aims to extend the 'Rainbow Bridge' even further—into the real world. After collaborating with EigenCloud, they equipped the bridge with the 'EigenDA V2 Data Layer Engine,' which improved verification efficiency by 5 times for enterprise-level RWA bridging, allowing Starbucks to tokenize and 'cross the bridge' with $12 billion worth of coffee garden assets. The ERA token has also become a 'bridge-building subsidy': 40% of the total supply is allocated to developers, and those who can build applications (like RWA tools) by the bridge can compete in a 'cross-chain development competition' with rewards of up to 500,000 ERA; currently, over 200 projects are applying, and the 'town' by the bridge is nearly complete.
This 'Rainbow Bridge' built by @Caldera Official and supported by the ERA token is no longer a simple cross-chain tool.
