Europe should not sit at this table. The EU has miserably failed in managing this regional crisis long before the first shot was fired. In reality, it has funded the military machine for decades. Look at the screen: before the invasion of Ukraine, several European countries were buying 100% of their energy from Russia. Even leading powers like Germany were sending tens of billions of dollars to Vladimir Putin.

He was supposed to be their enemy; they feared him. During Trump's first term, Europe ignored his warnings. They only doubled down on their foolishness by building more and more pipelines to Russia, while shutting down their own energy capacities. According to available data, even several years after the war began, Europe was sending Putin about 22 billion dollars for Russian energy resources. In other words, they were financing the war on their own continent while begging the United States to send more money and weapons to Ukraine.
