BlockBeats reports that as of August 21, according to the validator queue tracking website validatorqueue, the current exit queue for the Ethereum PoS network is approximately 878,966 ETH, valued at about $3.77 billion, which has eased from the previous historical high.
Meanwhile, approximately 203,206 ETH are waiting in line to join the network, showing a similar downward trend.
Previous reports indicate that this situation reflects two opposing forces in the market: on one hand, some stakers may choose to take profits after the significant rise of Ethereum since the low point in April, leading to a surge in the exit queue; on the other hand, new deposits driven by regulatory benefits and institutional demand are also pushing up the entry queue, as publicly traded companies like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion increase their holdings of ETH and stake.
