Anthony Scaramucci predicts Bitcoin will reach 180,000 USD by the end of 2025
Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, predicts that the price of Bitcoin (BTC) will reach between 180,000 USD and 200,000 USD by the end of 2025. He calls this a "cautious target" and points out two main drivers: supply-demand dynamics and institutional interest.
Main drivers for growth
According to #Scaramucci , the supply of Bitcoin released each day is only 450 BTC, while demand in the market is increasing, creating a significant imbalance. He emphasizes that in recent years, the market has witnessed the "consolidation and acceptance of institutions," with the launch of ETF funds from major companies like BlackRock.
He believes that a large portion of institutional capital will flow into Bitcoin ETF funds, rather than corporate Bitcoin treasuries like Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy). This is because ETFs provide a safe and reliable means to access Bitcoin.
Views on other digital assets
Scaramucci also has a positive outlook on stablecoins, arguing that they will bring a wave of technological innovation, helping users avoid credit card fees and other transaction costs. However, he appears less optimistic about Central Bank Digital Currencies (#CBDC ). Scaramucci believes that CBDCs could be too invasive of privacy, a viewpoint that former President Donald Trump also supports.
