Gemini co-founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss announced an additional donation of over 188 bitcoins (approximately 21 million USD) to the pro-Trump super PAC Digital Freedom Fund to support its crypto-friendly policy agenda during the midterm elections. Before the 2024 presidential election, the two had received partial refunds for exceeding individual contribution limits, and subsequently donated about 3.5 million dollars worth of bitcoin to several Trump-related PACs, including MAGA Inc.
