The native L2 'king bomb' of Bitcoin is coming! The Bitlayer mainnet countdown has begun, and developers will receive airdrops worth $20 million. Don't say I didn't remind you.

The official roadmap reveals that the Bitlayer mainnet will officially launch on September 1, with the first Dapp leaderboard competition also starting, with a total prize pool of $20 million equivalent in BTR. Developers only need to complete contract deployment and open the frontend within 48 hours to share rewards based on dimensions such as TVL, active addresses, and interaction counts; project parties can choose to transfer 100% of the airdrop to community users, achieving a 'zero-cost' cold start. In terms of technical parameters, Bitlayer adopts the ZK-STARK proof system, with a single proof size of only 45 kB and on-chain validation gas of 28 k wei, saving 35% compared to traditional ZK-SNARK. Additionally, the official is simultaneously opening a $100 million liquidity fund to provide dual-currency liquidity in USDC/BTR for high-quality projects, with a lock-up period of 6 months and an annual subsidy of 12%. Currently, 7 protocols including Lorenzo, Avalon, and Bitsmiley have confirmed their participation, expected to drive the mainnet TVL to exceed $100 million in the first month. Investors can follow the official GitHub to view the audit progress in real-time, and the mainnet will officially launch when the block height reaches #840000.
