“Life and wealth rely on K-wave”, “Finance is about getting rich quick”.
Many years ago, when I first read these two sentences, I didn't feel much.
Only in recent years have I come to appreciate them and gained new insights.
Financial trading is speculation, and speculation is not necessarily finance.
The King of Zhou interprets the trend with cycles, we interpret cycles with trends.
However, 99% of the players in the market tirelessly pursue some sort of automatic ATM that can achieve "stable profits", and I believe this is truly misguided.
Whether it's the universe, life, or financial trading, everything is distributed extremely unevenly.
From a mathematical fundamental perspective, financial speculative trading has an inherent disadvantage: earning 50% and then losing 50% actually results in a 25% loss. Therefore, to succeed in financial speculative trading, one must achieve — earn a lot when making profits, and lose very little when incurring losses.
The Sword Demon Dugu Qiu Bai used a soft sword in his early years, a blunt heavy sword in the middle period, and no sword in the later period. In my early years, I was like many young players today, thinking that I had to make a living from trading. But now, trading for me has become “no sword”, it is no longer something I must possess. I can now spend several months to half a year in cash, patiently waiting for a chance to strike; and if I had to forget a part of my memory, I would willingly give up everything related to financial trading.
99% of the players are still striving tirelessly, hoping to cultivate themselves to the level of a college student, doctoral student, or even professor in this discipline, hoping to dominate the market movements at the levels of doctoral, master's, college, high school, middle school, and elementary school students, using their invented “stable profit” trading system to make money in any market condition.
But, the classic statement that truly moves me is this:
Do not deliberately seek to cultivate yourself into a college student or doctoral student; you must recognize that you are only at a fifth-grade elementary school level, and therefore should specifically look for first or second-grade market conditions to bully them. Especially when encountering a wealthy first or second-grade chubby kid, seize the opportunity and go all out, getting enough in one go.
