Hong Kong Leads the World in New Stock Fundraising in the First Half of the Year

According to news from HashiChain and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Hong Kong new stock market continued its strong growth in 2025, with fundraising in the first half of the year ranking first globally. During this period, a total of 44 companies went public, and the total amount raised reached HKD 109.4 billion, a substantial year-on-year increase of 716%. As of June 30, 2025, there are currently 207 listing applications being processed. Hong Kong remains the preferred international financing market for enterprises from mainland China, and international issuers have also shown increased interest in raising funds by listing on the Hong Kong market.
