What’s interesting about Shrapnel is that they are the first and only Web3 game to obtain the national-level 'Trusted Copyright Chain' certification in China, and will be released in mainland China.
Outside of mainland China, Shrapnel has partnered with the blockchain gaming platform Gala Games, and has just secured a $19.5 million investment led by Gala Games, with follow-on investments from GGP and Polychain.
Prior to this, in October 2023, Shrapnel received a $20 million investment led by Polychain Capital.
